Latitude 37's latest contribution to charity has been to build
a cubby house for the Kids Under Cover (KUC) organisation.
The cubby, which was inspired by the "Rubik's Cube" design and titled the L37 Cube, was auctioned off at the 2010 Moobma Show to raise funds to help children from sleeping on the streets.
The 2.4m x 2.4m x 3.0m cubby had everything a kid would want including power, lighting, oven, tap and sink, plasma TV and DVD player, couch, playset and lots more. The L37 Cube proved to be a big hit with the kids, judges and parents being awarded with the Best Architecture, Most Melbourne and Best Cubby House in Show at the Moomba Show.
At the Moomba Festival, Latitude 37 Homes won the “Best in Show”, “Best Architectural Design”
and “Most Melbourne” awards and proceeds for the cubby house went to the charity “Kids Under Cover”
We at L37 are very proud of our efforts building the cubby and helping Kids Under Cover.
