Doug MacLeod founded Latitude 37 in 2006, driven by his vision for a builder to be a one-source destination for custom design, project delivery and client service.

Doug holds a Bachelor in Engineering from Monash University and has over 30 years of experience across construction, project management and engineering. His strong leadership acumen drives the entire Latitude 37 team to navigate a wide range of projects through collaboration and innovation.

An integral figure in Latitude 37’s growth trajectory since inception, Dean Oakley continues to play a crucial role in the company’s strategic and business operations today. Dean is an experienced business executive who has held senior leadership roles across public and private sector organisations.

In addition to his professional commitments with Latitude 37, Dean dedicates his time to volunteering as a Financial Counsellor, offering support and advocacy for vulnerable clients.

As the CEO of Latitude 37, Paul Thomas is responsible for leading the entire operations of the organisation and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the standard of every project is of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

With 30 years of experience in Australia and overseas across the construction and engineering sectors, Paul recognises the importance of cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation. He is dedicated to ensuring Latitude 37 remains a leader in the Residential Custom Home Builder market for many years to come.

As Latitude 37’s CFO, Joe is recognised for his dedication to his team and proactive work approach, which inspires Latitude 37’s team towards continued success.

Leveraging over 15 years of global experience in Melbourne and New York with organisations such as Lendlease and Deloitte, Joe draws on his diverse skill set in accounting, finance, and property to deliver exceptional outcomes.

With over 11 years of local and international experience in Project Management, Stephanie is an invaluable asset to the team as Latitude 37’s Operations Manager (Pre-site).

Since joining Latitude 37 in 2018, Stephanie has continued to play a crucial role in seamless project execution, consistent deadline management, and surpassing expectations in her commitment to excellence.

With over 10 years of experience, Kaitie started her journey at Latitude 37 as a Project Manager. Her commercial acumen and steadfast dedication to fostering strong client relationships swiftly earned recognition, resulting in her promotion to Sales Manager in 2022, and Operations Manager (Sales, Marketing and Design) in 2024.

Kaitie leads the Latitude 37 Sales, Marketing and Design teams and is committed to translating each client’s vision into reality through intuitive design and seamless project management.

As Construction Manager at Latitude 37, Joel brings a wealth of experience in project management and a sharp focus on driving efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction. With qualifications in Building & Construction and Occupational Health & Safety, he blends technical knowledge with calm, effective leadership.

Known for his clear communication and problem-solving ability, Joel plays a key role in delivering complex projects with confidence and care, ensuring every home is built to the highest standard.

The design team at Latitude 37 is renowned for their ability to create one-of-a-kind, tailor-made masterpieces with a keen focus on individuality.  Steve and Paul, who both hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree, closely collaborate with clients, carefully understanding their unique lifestyles and preferences to ensure every aspect of the design caters to their specific needs.

Steve, who joined Latitude 37 in 2014, has a unique ability to connect people with spaces, excelling at translating clients’ visions into creative and functional designs reflective of their distinct style. Inspired by mid-century modern design, his ethos revolves around clean lines, expansive glass, sustainability, natural materials, and a deep connection to nature.

Paul, who has been with Latitude 37 since 2017, possesses a natural talent for conceptualising spaces, intricately weaving human connections into physical environments. Viewing each project as a unique puzzle, Paul seeks to impact how people experience their surroundings positively. His design philosophy balances modern functionality with timeless elegance, embracing simple, clean lines and thoughtful detailing.

Through their unwavering attention to detail and holistic approach, Steve and Paul continue to establish Latitude 37 as leaders in luxury custom home design.

Delivering a client’s dream home requires every touchpoint of the design and build journey to be tailored for a positive and enriching experience.

The accomplished Interior Design team at Latitude 37 provides a highly personalised service, working collaboratively with clients to shape their vision into reality. Both Jess and Inna hold Bachelor of Interior Design degrees, bringing exceptional creativity, expertise, and attention to detail to every project.

With over 15 years of extensive interior design experience, Jess leads the team with a wealth of technical knowledge and practical insight. Known for her collaborative spirit and dedication to exceptional standards, her approach is client-focused, crafting spaces with intentional form and function that truly reflect individuality. Jess finds immense reward in bringing client visions to life, consistently exceeding expectations.

With a career spanning over 12 years in interior design, Inna specialises in creating interiors that beautifully combine aesthetic appeal and functional elegance tailored to each client’s lifestyle.  Her design philosophy embraces sophistication, minimalism, and tranquillity, drawing inspiration from the innate beauty of raw materials like concrete, timber, and natural stone. Her favourite part of working with L37 is transforming her client’s brief into a beautifully crafted, functional home, vividly brought to life through 3D imagery and sample boards.
