We recently sat down with Simon Williams, Head of New Homes at e&s, to discuss latest kitchen trends shaping modern homes.

Gone are the days of the one-size-fits-all approach according to Simon, with customers increasingly trending towards a highly personalised appliance selection process to ensure their kitchen is perfectly suited to their unique lifestyle needs.

“We’re increasingly seeing our clients opt for one-on-one appointments with our customer selection specialists when fitting out new projects.

This allows us to gain a greater understanding of how they will use the space for cooking, living and entertaining, and ensures that their dream homes are complete with appliances that they will love to use,” he said.

Both Promenade and Haven have been meticulously designed for modern coastal living, with spacious floorplans that allow friends and family to congregate and make treasured memories. After extensive consultation with the e&s team, a suite of Miele products were selected to bolster the entertaining capability of both kitchens.

“Each home is equipped with built-in steam and pyrolytic ovens by Miele, which have been massive growth products throughout Australia and the rest of the world. These ovens are a perfect fit for modern homes where functionality and style are equally important.”

“The Miele induction cooktops were also chosen with this in mind. We’re hearing more and more from clients that the streamlined, modern design of these appliances is a key deciding factor.”

While indoor kitchens are undoubtedly still the heart of the home, outdoor entertaining areas are quickly rising in popularity.

“Outdoor entertaining is often top of the agenda for our clients as the weather heats up. Homeowners are essentially turning their patios and gardens into true extensions of their homes to make the most of year-round outdoor living.”

The kitchen and living areas in both Promenade and Haven open out into spacious outdoor living areas, creating a more fluid and expansive living environment that offers a seamless transition from the kitchen to the open-air setting.
