Centred around a striking swimming pool and spa, the layout draws light and movement through every level. The kitchen, dining, and living areas open seamlessly to the elevated pool and alfresco terrace, creating an easy flow between indoors and out. This relationship with water becomes the heart of the home and a natural complement to its coastal setting.

A calm palette of textures and tones allows light and shadow to define each space. Materials were chosen to sit quietly against the ocean views, allowing the landscape to lead the experience. Windows are carefully positioned to frame sightlines to the water while maintaining privacy from neighbouring properties.

Clean lines and open volumes give the home a sense of stillness and proportion. Full-height glazing draws the outdoors in, extending every space to the garden, pool, and horizon beyond. Both living zones capture sunlight and views to the north, while the home’s orientation ensures comfort year-round. The balcony receives both morning and afternoon light, and the western courtyard provides shelter from winter winds while allowing cooling cross ventilation through summer.

The plan is composed of four distinct zones that respond to different moments in daily life. The main living area forms a gathering space for family and friends, balancing openness with intimacy. The upper ground level creates a zone for the younger generation, connected to the rear yard and basketball court. Above, the parents’ retreat offers privacy and calm, with a freestanding bath, expansive picture window, and balcony overlooking the ocean. Below, the semi-basement provides ample storage for coastal living — from surfboards and bicycles to vehicles and gym equipment.
