Built on a falling slope and surrounded by lush greenery, meticulous attention had to be paid to the land's existing contours. The Latitude 37 team designed the home to maximise the flatter areas of the sloping site, to take full advantage of the site’s elevation. With strong view lines that stretch across the tree-lined rear yard, this created a grounded yet expansive feeling. Natural timber, clean lines and a restrained palette keep the look timeless and earthy, allowing the surrounding plants and trees to become part of the home’s visual rhythm.
Inside, the kitchen, dining and living areas are the heart of the home, designed not only for everyday life with three teenage kids, but also to support moments of stillness and joy. Framed by oversized window boxes, these spaces welcome the outdoors in, changing with the seasons and creating a calming backdrop to daily family life.
The flow from indoors to out is seamless. An expansive alfresco area includes a built-in barbecue and family swimming pool, 6x3 metres with a waterfall edge. Whether it’s entertaining friends or watching the kids play, this space is designed for joyful living.
